Difficulty: Easy

Time Required: 2 Minutes

The Important Council Dates calendar was created to help staff become more aware of events/dates that are important. Adding the calendar to your Outlook is easy and can be done in less than 2 minutes.

  1. Open Outlook, and look near the bottom left of your screen and find an icon with three dots “…”

           2.Click the “Folders” link

         3. Once you click “Folders”, the menu on the left of your screen should slightly change (you might not notice it), You’re going to want to scroll through this list until you find “Public Folders” (it can be kind of tricky to find, but it's in there, I promise.)

        4. Once you’ve found that, expand the “All Public Folders” Folder and find “_Calendar-Important Council Dates” (it should be the first one), then RIGHT click it and select “Add to Favorites”

        5. A new menu should pop up where you can change the name of the calendar if you’d like. I changed mine to show up as “Important Council Dates”

  •

You’re all set! You now should be able to navigate over to your Calendar and see the “Important Council Dates” as a calendar you can toggle on/off.
